Vila-seca City Council has launched a new grant scheme to support entrepreneurs and businesses that have recently started a new economic activity in the municipality. The initiative aims to make it easier to establish new businesses and contribute to the growth and consolidation of the local business community.
The grant can provide up to €4,000 per beneficiary and is available to private individuals and legal entities that started a new business activity with their registered office in Vila-seca between 1 January 2025 and 30 June 2026, inclusive, provided they meet the requirements set out in the call.
Eligible expenses include business premises adaptations, tools and equipment, computer equipment and telephone services, as well as certain Social Security contributions. Specifically, the grant can cover up to 60% of eligible premises adaptation costs and up to 30% of the other eligible expenses, subject to the applicable conditions and a maximum grant of €4,000 per beneficiary. Expenses must have been incurred during the first year of business activity and must be properly documented.
Applicants must provide proof that their business activity has been registered, be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations and submit, among other documents, a description of their business project.
The scheme has an initial budget of €10,000, which may be increased to €49,000. Applications must be submitted by 13 November 2026. They can be made through Vila-seca City Council's electronic office. Applicants who are not legally required to communicate with public authorities electronically may also submit their applications in person at the Citizen Service Office (OAC).
If you have recently started a business in Vila-seca, this grant could be an opportunity to recover part of your initial set-up costs. We recommend checking the official conditions and making sure you meet all the requirements before applying.
