Up to €22,320 Grant for Self-Employed Hiring Their First Employee | Grupo Gestiona

Hiring a first employee is one of the most important milestones in the growth of any small business. To support this step, the Government of Catalonia has launched a new call under the TU+1 Programme, providing financial assistance to encourage permanent hiring among self-employed professionals.

The programme offers up to €22,320 for each full-time permanent employment contract, with funding available for up to two employees, provided that all eligibility requirements are met. The aim is to reduce the financial impact of hiring staff while encouraging sustainable business growth.

The grant is available to self-employed professionals and single-member limited companies (SLU) that have no employees when submitting the application and have not employed staff during the previous six months. In addition, the employment contract must remain in force for at least 18 months, and the employee must be registered as a job seeker with the Catalan Public Employment Service (SOC).

Taking advantage of this funding can make it much easier to expand your business, improve productivity and create long-term employment. Beyond the financial support, it provides entrepreneurs with the confidence to invest in growth while reducing hiring costs.

At Grupo Gestiona, we review your eligibility, prepare all the required documentation and manage the entire application process, allowing you to focus on growing your business while we take care of the administrative procedures.
